This day-long event showcases cutting-edge research from students, residents, fellows, and postdoctoral scholars, including oral platform presentations and poster sessions across biomedical disciplines.
Participants and attendees will have the opportunity to connect, share insights, celebrate scholarly achievements, and hear from a keynote speaker highlighting recent advances in health sciences research.
Research Day is an event for all the Virginia Health Sciences graduate programs, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Research Day! Students who are not presenting, and faculty without a mentee presenting at Research Day are encouraged participate by coming to support our presenters. Voting in the People’s Choice poster award is optional, but is also encouraged.

Faculty Awards
Nominations received for the Early Career Research Excellence Award and the Excellence in Research Mentorship Award were peer-reviewed by the Research Day award committee. Winners will be announced on Research Day after opening remarks.
