Welcome to Old Dominion University!
On behalf of Monarch Nation, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Ҵý! It is both an honor and privilege to serve as Ҵý's ninth president. My family and I look forward to engaging with the campus and the community in the months and years to come!

Speaking to the class of 2022
"Ҵý has a time-honored tradition of providing a diverse and welcoming community where we learn from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. As a close campus and caring community, we demonstrate understanding and respect for each other. This has defined Ҵý for many decades, and it will continue as we move forward. Together, we are Monarch Strong!"
