Earn Credit

There are several ways to demonstrate what you've learned through your prior experience. Depending on the course and your background, an ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ faculty evaluator will determine which method is appropriate.

A collection of materials, such as work samples, documentation, and written narratives, demonstrating how your experience aligns with the learning outcomes of a course.

An exam developed by an academic department to demonstrate your knowledge of course material.

A presentation in which you explain your knowledge and experience related to the learning outcomes of a course.

A discussion with a faculty evaluator who asks questions to determine how your experience and knowledge align with the learning outcomes of a course.

An opportunity to show your skills or knowledge through a practical demonstration.

A review of learning gained through professional, technical, military, or other structured training to determine whether it is equivalent to college-level coursework. Evaluations are conducted by faculty in the appropriate academic department.

Note About CLEP & DSST Exams

If a CLEP or DSST exam is available for a course, you must take that exam rather than pursue credit through the PEAK Credit process.  These exams are administered through ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Credentialing Center.
