About this Program
Old Dominion University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a major in marine biology. The Marine Biology major for undergraduate students within the Department of Biological Sciences at Old Dominion University is more than just a collection of courses. It is an integrated program that not only enhances academic preparation in marine biology, but also provides opportunities for the development of technical skills, research experience, internships, social and outreach activities, and study abroad and study away (off-campus, within the US) programs in marine biology.
